MKT800 – Blast Email and Fax
This batch 
 process sends blast e-mails or faxes and generates mailing labels 
 for purchased target customer/prospect lists.
 As 
 of 7.4.1SP1, emails sent via MKT800 can now be seen on the System Activities 
 and Activity and Contact Tracking screen in CRM360. For more information,

When a list communication is created, an optional fundraising 
 parameter can be set to create an appeal activity by selecting the Create 
 Appeal Activity checkbox. On the Job Parameters tab of the Job Submission 
 screen for MKT800, if the Key Code selected has the Create Appeal Activity 
 checkbox selected, the Appeal Activities tab on the Appeal Definition 
 and Maintenance screen will be automatically populated.
 
Additional parameters were added in the 7.2.1 release 
 to accommodate Address Change Service functionality. Please see Address 
 Change Service for more information.
 MKT800 
 needs to create one record in Fnd_Appeal_Activity. Activity "detail" 
 records for the customers selected by MKT800 need to get created in Cus_Activity, 
 not Fnd_Appeal_Activity_Detail.
